DetailDeco provides premium mobile car detailing across the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, service address (including city, state and ZIP code), and vehicle information you provide when booking.
- Coverage checker: the ZIP code you enter to check service availability.
- Waitlist: the email address you provide if you ask to be notified when we reach your area.
- Server logs and security data: hashed IP addresses used for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and the captcha token if a captcha is enabled.
How we use it
We use this information to schedule and deliver the detailing service you request, to send you booking confirmations and updates, to confirm service coverage, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with law. We do not sell or share your personal information.
Retention
We retain booking records only as long as needed for our records and legal obligations, after which they are anonymised or deleted.
Service providers
We use service providers such as hosting, transactional email, a CDN/security provider, and (if enabled) a captcha provider. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Your rights
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We respond to verified requests within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent.
Other states: residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and other states with privacy laws have similar rights. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring to protect your information.
